Issumael Nzamutuma, Ph.D

Issumael Nzamutuma, PhD, is a faith-based systems thinker, educator, and ministry leader whose work bridges academic leadership, Christian discipleship, and community development.

Raised in a Christian home in Rwanda, his worldview is grounded in faith, integrity, and moral conviction. His approach to the spiritual life draws on biblical theology and offers practical pathways for renewal, discipleship, and community transformation.

With over 30 years of experience in higher education across Africa and the United States, Issumael Nzamutuma has served in key roles, including Vice President for Academic Affairs, Registrar, and Institutional Research Leader. He holds a Ph.D. in College and University Administration from Michigan State University, along with advanced degrees in Economics, Mathematics, and Teaching (Physics).

In addition to his academic work, he has founded and led initiatives such as Hidden Treasures International and Here and Home, Inc. He is actively involved in church leadership and multicultural ministry, and as a church leader and multicultural minister, he has a lifelong dedication to nurturing transformation in individuals and communities.
